Outgoing Luiz

CHELSEA told Bayern Munich: that David Luiz will cost £60million.

New Bayern boss Pep Guardiola was keen on adding the versatile Brazilian, 26, to his squad and lined up a £40m package plus £5m in add-ons to tempt Blues.
But Chelsea insisted they did not want to sell and told the European champions: It’s £60m or we’re not interested.
Bayern thought that was way over-priced for Luiz — who cost £21.3m from Benfica in January 2011 — and pulled out of the bidding.

 

However, Goal reported that Pep have dismissed report linking him to the Chelsea star and that he is satisfied with his defenders owing to the 4:2 defeat to Dortmond last saturday.
