Soldado Journey to Spurs in England

New Spurs Star - Soldado
Reports in Valencia sports daily Superdeporte said that the 28-year-old striker is due to undergo a medical on Thursday after signing a contract at 00:30 on Wednesday, enabling a move to White Hart Lane for €30 million.
It is believed the terms of the deal mean Tottenham will make an initial payment of €12 million, with three further payments of €6 million over the next three years. Reports earlier this week had suggested a deal was very close to being struck.
Valencia will now turn their attention to replacing the Spain international striker, with former Spurs player Helder Postiga expected to join from Zaragoza this week.
On their official website the club said: "Valencia Club de Fútbol has reached an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, pending the corresponding medical examination, for the transfer of Roberto Soldado for the amount equivalent to that of his release clause.

 Neymar Idolize Messi

The 21-year-old joined the Liga champions from Santos for €57 million back in June, with the footballing world intrigued as to how the two South American stars would gel alongside one another at Camp Nou. Neymar declared recently that he really loves the relationship between him and the star current world footballer.
And just a matter of weeks after being unveiled in Blaugrana colours, Neymar says the pair are becoming good friends, while again hailing the Argentine as the game's finest player.

"My relationship with Messi is fantastic," he said.
"I speak with him every day. Messi is the best player in the world, he has got all of my respect."
A great deal of expectation will weigh on the shoulders of the Brazilian this term as he bids to adjust to European football and justify his sizeable transfer fee, but Neymar is remaining calm and insists he is not feeling the heat just yet.
"There is always pressure, I just try to keep calm, you have to take on this kind of pressure, it's part of football," he said. "I'm always happy as long as I'm helping the team, the important thing for me is just to play well and to be able to help the team. There is a lot of expectation over me, and I'm hoping to live up to these expectations."

Hilario New Contract
Henrique Hilario has today (Thursday) signed a new one-year contract. This was made known by the club website. The Portuguese goalkeeper is beginning a seventh season at Chelsea and will be one of four goalkeepers in the squad along with Cech Mark Schwarzer and Jamal Blackman.

Hilario was brought to the club in May 2006 by Jose Mourinho and made his debut against Barcelona in October that year, keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 Champions League win.

The 37-year-old has made 39 appearances for Chelsea, of which 18 have been clean sheets.

He said: 'It feels really good to sign a new contract for another year at the club, I'm very proud.

'I'm really pleased to be part of this great squad and I'm looking forward to working once again with Jose Mourinho.'
John Utaka to Turkey
Former Montpellier striker, John Utaka, has moved to Turkey to join Sivasspor and increase the number of Nigerian players plying their trade in that country.
He also won the FA Cup with Portsmouth in 2008. He moves to the club as another Nigerian, Michael Eneramo departed for Besiktas.
